There’s a point in every track where something shifts. It stops feeling like something we're building—and starts feeling like something that’s responding.
It’s subtle at first. A direction that doesn’t feel chosen anymore. A sound that feels like it belongs more than it was placed. A moment where forcing it stops working, and listening takes over.
That’s usually when we know we're on the right path.
We don’t make music expecting everyone to interpret it the same way. In fact, we hope they don’t.
What we hope instead is simpler—and more personal.
That somewhere in the sound, you hear something that feels familiar. Not because it’s explained, but because it resonates in a place you don’t always put into words.
Maybe it’s a moment you’ve been avoiding.
Maybe it’s something you’ve been carrying longer than you realized.
Maybe it’s just a feeling you thought you were experiencing alone.
The most interesting part of creating anything is not the beginning or the end. It’s what happens in between. That uncertain space where something is forming but hasn’t fully taken shape yet. Where you don’t know if it will become a song, or just a feeling you carry for a while. That space can be uncomfortable. But it’s also where honesty lives. If you rush through it, you miss what it’s trying to show you. If you sit with it too long, it can feel heavy. But somewhere in between is where things start to reveal themselves. A melody. A lyric. A direction you didn’t expect.
This song wasn’t about finding answers. It was about learning to stay in the questions.
There are moments in life where the instinct is to escape—change the subject, distract yourself, move on too quickly. But some things don’t resolve just because we want them to. “Walk With It” came from that space. It’s about choosing presence over avoidance. Not because it’s easy—but because it’s honest.
Some ideas don’t turn into music. Some moments just sit with you.
They don’t resolve. They don’t build into a structure. They don’t find a chorus or a final verse that ties everything together neatly. They just exist. And I’ve learned that’s okay.
Not everything is meant to be finished. Some things are meant to be experienced, felt, and left open. In a way, those moments are just as important as the songs that do get made. They shape how I hear things. How I approach sound. How I understand silence.
